In Scotland this is called Million Dollar Shortbread or Millionnaire’s Shortbread. It brings back some very special memories of my time there. It is one of my all time favorites. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe. A+

It is nice to see in this day and age that not everyone is out for themselves. I noticed during my brief stay in New York that a lot of men got up to offer a lady their seat. I actually found people in New York to be a lot kinder then all the stories that I have been told.

Hey Amy! I want to say thank you for being you! And thank you for making me feel so special as a young bratty kid who followed you and your high school cheerleader friends around for an idyllic summer of my youth. I know just how difficult I was because my mother and sister remind me that my youngest daughter is just as I was at that same age. So I am now finding it urgent to tell you how much I need to thank you for being SUCH a dear and special person for putting up with me as you did and not just for putting up with me but for making me feel SPECIAL and loved!!! I was taught at a very young age to say please and thank you. I use those phrases all day, every day…whether at work or my private life. It is sad, the number of people who look or sound shocked when I say please or thank you. I believe a cure for this disorder would be to take those inconsiderate people, place them in a room with a wide screen television and a dvd player, then make them watch & listen as Barney (the purple dinosaur) sings about please and thank you being the ‘magic words’. The offenders would not be able to leave the room until they can use those words without having to think about it. Wouldn’t the world be a better place?

I have been reading Garnet’s story and I am so glad he is doing well. It always amazed me how close your family is and how all of you are always there to support one another. The entire community has been praying for Garnet and it seems like everywhere you go, someone knows him.
