Hey Amy!

I am thrilled so many of you saw “Julie & Julia” this weekend.  As you know, I loved the film and am planning a girls night out to see it this week.  There are so many lovely moments in the film but I think my favorite is when Julia received her letter that she was to be published.  I cried tears of joy knowing what happiness must have filled her heart when realizing years and years of work were not in vain.  I loved the journey we were able to experience with Julia.  Not to forget Julie’s journey, she also brought tears of joy when she had her rooftop dinner party.  I have walked a mile in her kitchen shoes so I shed a few tears of pride for her as well.

Now.  I was fortunate to not only see the film early but to get my hands on some merchandise made for the film.  The delightful people of Sony pictures sent me a few books, aprons, bags, book lights and bookmarks to give to my readers!  You can see the bag and apron as modeled by my super model friends.  How exciting!  I will post a new Julia recipe each day along with that day’s giveaway.  There are two ways to enter: either send me an email with the words “I love Julie & Julia” in the subject line or if you follow me on twitter, retweet that days recipe tweet.  Please only one entry per day per person.  At the end of each day, I will have a random drawing and post who the winner is.  If you are the winner, I will contact you for mailing information so I can get you your treat!
