Hey Amy!

Hope everyone is spending the day with loved ones, enjoying the flavors of the season in their favorite dishes.  I want to take a minute to honor those soldiers who have given their lives for my freedom.  The freedom to write this blog each day, to walk safely through my neighborhood without a thought of danger, to live in a land where anything is possible.  I have ‘brothers’ who have served and are currently serving and their generosity to this nation is beyond anything I can comprehend.  They have given up so much to allow me to be free.  Is there a greater gift?  Thank you to veterans and soldiers all over the world.

Please pause today while you are grilling, tossing back that beer, taking a dip in the pool and remember why you have these lovely days with friends and family.  Happy Memorial Day!
